The 8th Asian & African Modern Art Exhibition

The 8th Asian & African Modern Art Exhibitions have been held in Xi-Tang, a small town with a rich history of traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy. This exhibition has become a very important part of Xi-Tang’s 2011 Tourism and Culture Festival and be sponsored by the town government. Xi-Tang is one of the best preserved ancient town is southeast China. Most residential houses, street and bridges in Xi-Tang dated back to Ming (1368-1644) and Qin (1644-1911) dynasties. This exhibition have been held at The Xi-Yuan Museum of Characterism Art Institute is located in the city of Xi-Tang, it is 60 kilometers Southwest of Shanghai, 110 kilometers east of Hangzhou, and 85 kilometers south of Suzhou. The 8th Asian & African Art Exhibition has been accompanied by artist from China, Malaysia, Bahrain, India, Japan, Korea, Mauritius, Myanmar, Philippines, Reunion Island, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia.
